London Lockdown — Afternoon Walk & Artist Date

london-lockdown-walk-9-1200.jpeg

There’s a lockdown in London. I’ve been in self-isolation since early March.

The advice from the government is to leave the house infrequently. Shopping for groceries when needed, getting medical help, and getting outside for some exercise is allowed.

I usually do my weekly artist date on Friday afternoon. The artist date is a practice from The Artist’s Way. It’s a dedicated time each week to nurture your inner artist. I often go to a museum or gallery exhibition. Sometimes I take myself out to a restaurant or cafe. Other times I go shopping for art supplies.

This time I decided to take my camera out and go for a long walk around my neighbourhood. The streets were quiet. The sun was bright.
