Life is full.

I’m writing to you from my desk near an open window overlooking Lisbon. The sky is the softest blue. The breeze is sweet and warm. I can hear a gentle mix of voices and nature, punctuated with the sounds of a city that likes to take it slow. I have a view of Castelo de São Jorge, its form nestled squarely within a mound of top-heavy pine trees. Birds pass by, crossing the tiled rooftops, heading towards the Rio Tejo.

I’ve been bouncing around Portugal since July, climbing down rocky trails to secret beaches, making new friends (for now? for the month? forever?), and softening into the comfort of this peninsula that feels like home from a life before this one.

The summer has been a space of deep inner reflection. I’m grateful for everything that got me here and, on the good days, even the messy parts. I’ve been sketching and daydreaming while making practical changes ~ adjusting my 1 to 1 work, building new courses, and getting the Psychedelic Arts Society off the ground. More on all of that soon.

Through playful exercises and deliberate risk-taking, develop a more spontaneous relationship with drawing. Discover unconventional approaches to mark-making. Build a personal vocabulary of experimental methods. Join me and the circle that’s coming together.
